Nu zaterdag, 15 oktober 2011, draaien we samen met Rainbows & Ponies (spannend, want ‘t is de eerste maal dat we met drie achter de mengtafel staan) op benefiet For Africa in Het Depot te Leuven. Onze set begint om 00h30, en we draaien tot op het einde.

Dit benefiet zal zijn opbrengsten schenken aan 1212, ten voordele van de hongerigen en dorstigen in de uitgedroogde Hoorn van Afrika. (Wij draaien trouwens gratis.)

Beat It Club 4

The second episode of our birthday tour will be Beat It Club 4. Place to be next Friday (15 April) is Esperança, which is right above Café Alegria on the Old Market in Leuven. Come early, the beloved Mart will be opening with a rock set around 10PM!

This blog appears to be dead, but we’re not! We played this summer in Ghent, Brussels, and Spain! Can you believe that? Neither can we!

Next up: Leuven, Brussels, Antwerp and perhaps Spain again? Who knows?

Hole in one

We opened at Kiss My Ass in Waasmunster for Merdan Taplak (last March).
We’ll be playing next Friday at the Rega Afterwork Party in Heverlee.
Somewhere in September we’ll be playing in Spain. W00t!
We’re working on fixing gigs in Ghent and Brussels.

Scientica Prom

Last Friday (Mar 27) we played at the Scientica Prom in Leuven. As usual at proms, the audience was dressed up: girls in beautiful dresses and the boys in nice suits.

dM3 and I started by playing some laidback tunes (think poppy 80s gems) and around 11pm it was time for the opening slows. After those slows we started building up right. Boy did that go smooth. Less than 30 minutes later we got half the room dancing (I’d say even more). Throw in some oldskool 90′s classics and before you know it everyone is shaking his ass and throwing his hand in the goddamn air!

The party went on till 4.30 in the morning. We could’ve pulled it longer, but yeah, we were already awake for more than 21 hours, it should be healthy for us too. Talking about healthy shizzle, the champagne tasted damn good!
